TaShi began in Lhasa, Tibet in 2021 with a simple idea: to create jewelry that carries the character of Tibet while feeling natural in modern life.
Our work is shaped by the landscapes, colors, patterns and jewelry traditions around us. From turquoise and silver to form and proportion, these influences continue to guide the way we design.
Rather than simply reproducing traditional Tibetan jewelry, we explore how its character can live in pieces made for today.
Made by Hand in Lhasa
Our jewelry is made through hands-on processes including heating, hammering, shaping, engraving, soldering and polishing.
Working with silver and turquoise requires hands, judgment and time. Each material behaves differently, and small variations are part of what gives handmade jewelry its character.
Tibetan Influence, Made for Modern Life
Traditional Tibetan jewelry is rich in color, symbolism and strong visual forms.
At TaShi, we do not simply copy the past. We take inspiration from those traditions and explore cleaner lines, lighter proportions and forms that can become part of everyday life.

Turquoise has long been part of the visual landscape of Tibetan jewelry, and it remains at the heart of much of our work.
No two stones are exactly alike. Differences in color, matrix, texture and shape mean that each stone brings something different to a design.
We see those variations as part of what gives each finished piece its own identity.
